Hours

For safety and comfort, children should not arrive earlier than 8:20 a.m. Schools are not responsible for outside supervision prior to 8:20 a.m. The only exceptions are for those attending Choir/Band, the breakfast program (opens at 8:15 a.m.) or with teacher permission. The first bell will ring at 8:30 a.m., at which time children may enter the building. Children are considered tardy if they arrive after 8:35 a.m. Tardy records appear on your child's report card and are therefore part of their permanent record.

VISITORS

Anyone visiting or volunteering at Whiting Lane during school hours must enter through the front door and sign the register in the office. It is important to know who is in the building at all times for security and safety reasons. Also, if your child is ill or hurt it will help us locate you if you are volunteering in the school. You will be required to wear a volunteer or visitor name badge. Your cooperation is appreciated and essential.
