Library Media Center
The library media center is open during the school day for book selection and for student projects. Our curriculum supports the classroom curriculum and the development of 21st century library media skills. All K-5 classes meet for regularly scheduled literacy and technology classes. Classroom teachers may also sign up for flexible lab and library time.
The school library media specialist empowers students to be:
- Critical Thinkers
- Enthusiastic Readers
- Skillful Researchers and
- Ethical Users of Information
The Library Media Services Department has adopted the national mission of the American Association of School Librarians which is “…to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information.”
